Every web design project time-line is unique. I cannot put a value on it before requirements are determined and an outline agreed upon. What I can say is that one of the most critical factors influencing completion is how quickly copywritten content is prepared. This in turn is dependent on whether you will write content yourself or whether copywriting services of Ataraxis produces necessary content. If I am producing content of a subject nature unfamiliar to me I will require additional time to research it prior to writing. It would be beneficial to take an active role in developing your online presence by reading through my eight primary topics of interest. There are many different interpretations describing them. For purposes of my work, a website designer is a person responsible for most items that are not under an umbrella of the actual html coding phase. Writing html source code is a responsibility of a developer. In other words, assessing requirements such as; assessment of competition, recommending a name to register, keyword research, SEO copywriting, discussing search engine marketing and Internet marketing, deciding on visual layout and creative expression, as well as outlining post-development managed hosting choices becomes a responsibility of a web designer. After she has completed her tasks it results in a blueprint. That blueprint is handed over to a developer (in a team environment) to code it all into production format. In my case it is simply another one of my hats :)
Yes, Ataraxis can purchase any necessary graphics if none are available from clients. I subscribe to an affordable service of royalty free stock photos at Fotolia. I also produce my own custom graphics so one way or another we can either find or produce what is required. Custom produced graphics are subject to custom graphics prices. Minor customization work to client-provided photos will not typically incur additional charges. Determination will be made upon receipt of any images. Minor customization work are aspects such as cropping or reducing file sizes. All web graphics work is subject to a case by case assessment.

Yes, I can develop a domain even if it is not hosted here; with limitations. My work does not end when it goes live. Based on experience, it typically takes at least six months of analytics data to fine tune everything post-development for it to be very well search engine optimized. I will only perform such work if it hosted on an Ataraxis private server. Additionally, every page I produce is very highly search engine optimized. If even so much as a few sentences are changed it may adversely affect page placement in search engine results. Therefore, if a post-development domain is hosted elsewhere I will not be responsible for its performance in search engine results. Exceptions may apply, please inquire.
An open source scripting program named Piwik Analytics is installed with snippets of supporting code placed in each page. This will allow tracking of visitor movement using cookies. It is a very common practice throughout the Internet. This practice is known as applying analytics to study visitor movement as well as behaviour. It does not gather any personally identifiable information from visitors. There will be an ability to review statistics such as how many visitors there have been during a time period or what pages they visit. Those statistics help determine effectiveness of an online presence.
It's my opinion that flash presentations become counter productive to search engine optimization strategies as well as a good user experience. I do not, or very rarely, use flash technology in my work. My philosophy is that people do not arrive at a site to be entertained, unless it is specifically about entertainment! They arrive searching for information about your product or service. If visitors get annoyed with something they do not want pushed to their screen there is a chance of loosing a visitor who may have otherwise become a customer or client.
Regretfully I do not presently offer ecommerce development but that may change at a later date. Sometimes I do provide short answers!
